I love reading year-round, but there’s something about reading when it’s cold outside that makes me super happy. There just aren’t many things better than cuddling up on the couch with blankets and warm socks and a cup of something hot and a good book.

In honor of the cooler, cuddlier weather, I’ve put together a little book list with some cold-weather appropriate reads. I don’t know about you, but there are summer/beach reads, and there are fall/winter/cooped up in the house reads. Several of these I’ve already read, but the ones with an asterisk are the ones on my “to read” list.

The Giver
Cold Mountain
Looking for Alaska*
This is Where I Leave You
The Reader
The Bell Jar
Gone Girl
Dark Places
Sharp Objects
Not That Kind of Girl*
The Book With No Pictures*
All The Light We Cannot See*
The Goldfinch
The Harry Potter Series
Little Women
Rosemary’s Baby*
The Virgin Suicides

Follow my on Goodreads to see what I’ve read, what I’m reading and books I’m interested in reading. Also, please share what books I should add to the list for this season!
